I live in Florida with my husband and youngest son. We are originally from N.E.Ohio and moved here in 2003. I have always loved all kinds of art. I'm the daughter of a scrap dealer, which is how I got started making garden art back in 1998, which led to entering summer art shows in Ohio. In 2005, I began painting again, having not painted since the late 70's. I just love it and try to paint daily. I have continued to do art shows in Ohio and also here in Pensacola. Life is good!

#1 a work in progress

I have not yet finished this painting. I needed to start somewhere and I chose this one to begin my blog. This is an acrylic on 10" X 20" stretched canvas. I scanned the picture on my printer to see how this looks. I think I will take a picture of it with my camera when it is complete to show it in it's entirety.

Starting my blog!

Since my art buddies are setting up a blog - I decided to give it a try. I will attempt to add my paintings often. I won't promise to do this daily, because I would rather be painting than posting.
